The group has been awarded a New Investigator Award to develop a terahertz scattering-type near-field optical microscope (THz-SNOM) to investigate the optoelectronic properties of topological insulator thin films and nanowires on nanometre length scales. This award will fund a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) for 2 years, as well as travel, consumables and equipment for the project. We thank EPSRC for their support.
