Prof. Richard Curry (PI), Dr Jessica Louise Boland, Prof. Coskun Kocabas, Prof. Ian Kinloch and Prof. Wendy Flavell were awarded an EPSRC Strategic Equipment Grant! This grant was financially supported by both EPSRC and Henry Royce Institute and will fund the purchase of a cryogenic scattering-type near-field optical microscope (s-SNOM) and establish a national facility for advanced material characterisation at 3 extremes: nanometre (<30nm) length scales, ultrafast (<1ps) timescales and low temperatures (<10K).
